我和米班主今日收養咗四個BB



今日我和米班主去咗喬治城行街, 因為喬治城大學醫院叫米班主為一位唔識英文的病人做翻譯. 咁我就約咗米班主係喬治城的一間書局等. 點知米班主去到醫院個主診醫生話個病人講唔到野, 所以唔需要. 因為實在太早無可能有午餐食, 所以我和米班主去咗附近行街. 有間賣時下流行的時裝店重大減價, 我哋入咗去逛點知比米班主發現咗四個BB減緊價. 我哋見佢哋四個咁可憐就收養佢哋番屋企比個溫暖的佢哋.

我和米班主見天氣好諗住出去做d有益身心的活動, 我哋就踩單車去河邊. 我就打算去釣魚而米班主就打算去跑步, 但去到河邊好鬼大風又凍到死. 所以就去咗河邊附近的魚市場行吓, 點知比我哋見到有鯇魚賣就嗱嗱啉啉買咗條番屋企. 都算無白踩一趟. 所以整咗薑葱鯇魚煲做晚餐.

原本不打算煮飯, 不過出街又覺得太晚. 因為米班主明天要上班, 而且屋企還有湯, 所以整了一點間單的碗仔飯.

Originally, we wanted to hang out but I think a bit late, because Mr Mic needs to work tomorrow. He needs to wake up very early in the morning around 5 something. Also, we had some soup. I made a simply thing.

扮外國人五


很久沒有食意利粉, 因為米班主不太喜歡. 但今次他把一整碟食清, 真的不能相信. 早幾日去咗 Costco 行看見那裡的大蝦和龍蝦不太貴, 所以買了一包回家, 想整他給米班主食. 一直都在想中式還是西式, 最後都是定決先整西式. 所以今日整咗芝士焗龍和蒜蓉焗大蝦佩蒜蓉蕃茄意大利粉.

I have not eaten pasta for a longtime because Mr Mic doesn't like it quite much. Incredibly, He finished whole dish this time. Few days ago, we went to Costco. We found some prawns and lobsters. They were not too expensive, we bought one pack. I really wanted to cook them for Mr Mic but I couldn't decide to make them in oriental style or western style. Finally, I decided to make them in western style first. I made Cheese Bake Lobster and Garlic bake Prawn with Garlic Tomato Sauce Pasta.

新年新開始

新的一年有一個好的新開始, 相信每一個人想的. 米班主和我真的好好彩, 因為我們都有一個好的開. 昨日我們去租了一輛車, 那是米班主考到車牌的第一次自己揸車, 不需要其他有經驗人的陪伴. 需然我們有行錯路, 但我們都可以找到回家的路. 其實一直都好多謝米班主的一位同事兼好朋友(Charleston), 他時常抽空陪伴米班主揸車, 一直好想多謝他們. 所以今日邀請他和他的太太(Helen)一起到我們家食飯. 米班主一直都講想食潮式煎蠔餅, 真好彩早兩日去唐人的超級市場看到那裡有, 所以就買了回家. 所以今日回味一吓家鄉菜, 需然沒有爸爸整的好, 但好好彩他們都喜歡和說好食.

I think most people want to have a good start in new year. Mr Mic and I had a good start this year. We so lucky, because both of us got a good start. We rented a car yesterday. This was his the first time, He drove along without the hlep of experience guy. However, we could finally get back home by ourselves. Charleston, a good friend as well as a colleague of Mr. Mic, always help him to practice driving. Actually, we wanted to thank him and his wife (Helen) long time ago. Therefore, we invited them to come to our home to have dinner tonight. These days Mr. Mic said he really missed the Chiu Chow Oyster Cake in Temple Street. We're so lucky we got that in the Chinese Supermarket two days ago. I made some my hometown food, but not as good as my father made. Hopefully, they liked them quite much.

除夕 New Year's Eve


今日米班主下午回來食午餐, 我整咗星洲炒米. 我們會去米班主的同事開除夕大食會. 我預備咗生煎牛肉包, 不過有些樣衰. 因為我偷賴唔分兩次煎一次放晒落鑊, 攪到變形.

Mr Mic came back home to have lunch, today. I made a bowl of Singaporean Fried Rice Stick for our lunch. We will have a New Year's Eve party at Mr Mic's colleague's home. I perpared some Fried Beef Bun, but they need to makeover. I think we may stay overnight there.

身體有一點毛病 Something Wrong in My Body




























我想我的身體有一點毛病, 但又提不起勁去看醫生. 人就是這樣不到最後一刻或不能再拖都不去看醫生, 但在這看醫生實在麻煩, 一定要打電話預約又時要等好幾天. 真的唔明點解咁唔方便, 如果有急症就打911都幾白痴. 米班主落 order 話要食椒鹽豬扒, 我就想食清清哋, 所以清炒白菜仔.

I think there is something wrong in my body, but I really don't want to go to see the doctor. People are like that. They only go to see the doctor until last moment. Seeing a doctor is quite complicated here, I need to make an appointment before. Sometimes, I need to wait for a few days. I don't know why their service like that. If you are really urgent, you can call 911. THEY ARE SO STUPID. Mr Mic made an order. He wanted to have Salty Hot Spicy Pork Chop for tonight's dinner. However, I wanted to have some light food instead. I finally had the Pak Choi fried.

聖誕節 Christmas



今年的聖誕節和上年一樣, 沉悶中道過. 米班主同上年一樣沒有買聖誕禮物給我, 唔知係咪每個男人都一樣, 結婚後就不會再花心思在這些地方. 其實真係幾唔開心因為一早已經過自己想收禮物不論名貴與否. 已經兩年沒有生日和聖誕禮物. 男人就是這樣, 婚前婚後兩個人, 所以曾經有個男性朋友講可以的話不結婚比結婚好.

Like last year, we got a boring Christmas this year. We didn't go to out and just stayed at home. Mr. Mic was same as last year, he didn't have any Christmas gift for me. I don't know why all men are like that. After marriage, they don't care that any more. I am really unhappy because I told him before I want to receive a gift, no matter cheap or not. I didn't receive birthday and Christmas after marriage. Men are generally like that, before and after marriage is different. That's why I was told by one of my male friends not to get married if you can.

懷念一碗熱辣辣的湯麫 Miss Hot Soup Noodle















在南美旅行時, 不太容易找到中式的餐廳或食市. 一直很想食一碗熱辣辣的湯麫, 因為那兒實很寒冬. 需然在旅程中米班主和我都自己煮食, 但都是以西式為主如意粉及牛扒等等. 十分掛念雲吞, 可是回來後十分忙碌於善後工作, 直至上星期六才有機會去唐人的超級市場. 馬上買了一些包雲吞的材料還買了炆牛腩材料.

星期天一早起床, 馬上開始炆牛腩在炆牛腩時就預備包雲吞的材料. 給米班主和自己煮了一碗雲吞牛腩麫加紫菜.

During the South America trip, it was not easy to find Chinese Restaurant there. I
missed the noodle with hot soup very much, because it was quite cold there. Mr. Mic and I needed to cook for ourselves, we had steaks or pasta in western style. I really missed the dumpling, but we didn't have time to go to the Chinese Supermark until last Saturday.

We bought ingredients for dumpling and steak flank. I woke up early in this Sunday, I made steak flank and dumpling in HK style. Finally, we had a wonderful hot soup noodle.

真的很想到唐人超市, 但又真的十分不願意長途跋涉去買菜. 見冰箱還有東西可以整, 我想會到什麼都無才會心肝去. 今日有梅菜扣肉和西蘭花炒鮮魷.

We really wanted to go to Chinese Supermarket, but it is quite far way. Also, we still had some food in freezer, I think we will go there until we finish all. Today we had Pork with Preserved Vegetable and Fresh Squid with Broccoli.

回來的第一個晚餐 First Dinner after South America Trip

















回來後沒有時間去唐人的超級市場, 屋企沒有什麼存貨好好彩冰箱有雞, 嗱嗱啉到鬼佬超級市場買菜, 但又沒有什麼選擇就買了波菜仔, 所以整咗蝦醬蒸雞和蒜蓉波菜. 好彩米班主無"咋形".

We didn't have time to go to Chinese Supermarket, but we still had some meat in freezer. I went to Western Supermarket to buy some vegetable, I didn't have too many choices, I chose baby Spinach. Tonight we had Shrimp Paste with Chicken and Baby Spinach in Garlic Sauce.

米班主和我回來啦!!!! We came back la!!!


















回來第一天外面下着大雪, 真的討厭. 經過慢長和艱辛的人生之旅程終於回到了一個悶到爆炸. 真的不知為什麼要去這次艱辛的旅行. 我在第二天已經很想返家, 因為我受高山反應的影響頭痛和心痛, 痛不能睡......後來問了一些當地人有什麼可以舒緩, 他們叫我們買一種醫治高山反應的藥.

We just came back first day, outside is snowing now. After the long and exhuasting life journey, we came back this super boring place. I realy don't understand why we need to take this harsh trip. The second day of this trip I really wanted to go back home because I got high altitude sickness, headache and heartache. I couldn't sleep...... later we asked some local guys for help and they told us we could buy a medicine to relieve those pain.

哈哈我同米班主將會離開大家一個月 We will away for one month








明天我和米班主會開始我們相信是一生最後一次長旅行, 所以我們硏究和考慮了很久才選擇再度去南美洲. 因為我們五月份去了人生第一次的南美洲之旅. 那次令我們看到很多美麗的地方和不同的風土人情, 我們到了阿根庭 (Argentina) 的布宜諾斯 (Buenos Aires) 及伊瓜蘇大瀑布 (Puerto Iguazu), 巴西 (Brazil) 的里約熱內盧 (Rio De Janeiro) 及伊瓜蘇大瀑布 (Foz De Iguazu) 和巴拉圭的首都亞松森 (Asuncion). 因為伊瓜蘇大瀑布是在三個國家接壤的邊界上.

南美的國家有它們獨特的吸引人地方和文化色彩, 需然它們十分之接近美國, 但它們沒有比美國文化所感染, 大部分盈保留它們獨有的文化.
不過今次我們將會去一些我未曾去過的地方, 如拉拍絲 (La Paz), 烏尤尼鹽湖 (Uyuni) 位於玻利維亞 (Bolivia), 由陸路南下去亞塔卡馬沙漠 (Atacama Desert), 聖地牙哥 (Santiago), Pucon, Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas, 烏蘇外亞 (Ushuaia), Antarctica trip, back to Punta Arenas, 拿大莉斯港(Puerto Natales), National Park Torres del Paine, 再往艾加拉法地El Calafate, 看看莫雷諾冰川Glacier Moreno, 最後會重遊阿根庭 (Argentina) 的布宜諾斯 (Buenos Aires), 後回華盛頓.

米班主今日做演員 Actor 1

米班主今日做演員, 因為佢今日扮病, 所以晚飯比較清淡有元貝蒸蛋白和油菜.


元貝蒸蛋白
材料:
元貝 5 粒
蛋白 6 隻*
凍滾水 9隻*
油 少許

*蛋白和凍滾水的比例為1比1.5
1. 元貝用凍滾水浸軟後擦絲, 元貝水留用.
2. 蛋白加入元貝水和油拌勻 (如元貝水不加入凍滾水至比例).
3. 已擦絲的元貝放在碟底, 把蛋白和水混合液捯入.
4. 水滾後放入轉中火蒸8-10分鐘.



潤喉飲品 - 甘笋乾無花果蜜棗雪耳糖水
材料:
甘笋 1/2 磅
乾無花果 20粒
蜜棗 6 粒
雪耳 5 小粒
冰糖 少許
水 3公升

1. 先將甘笋, 乾無花果, 蜜棗洗淨, 甘笋切片, 無花果剪開一半, 雪耳浸開.
2. 將甘笋, 乾無花果, 蜜棗和水放進煲內煲至大滾轉細火煲一小時二十分鐘.
3. 加入雪耳再煲二十分鐘後, 加入冰糖煲十分鐘.

生活苦悶 Boring Life


剛剛完成一個semester, 放咗一個星期假, 但我已經簡直悶到爆炸都唔知可以做d乜. 我諗我都係辛苦命一刻都不能靜下來.

今日非常繁忙因為一早要去考試, 點知架巴士又唔生性攪到遲咗報到, 好彩都可以考. 跟住又去咗chin chin 仔 town買中藥. 重盼勁去supermarket買野煲湯. 簡直疲累到爆炸, 不能形容.

明天要搵d野攪吓先得, 如無意外會整日式芝士蛋糕送比米班主d同事.

哈哈今次扮日本人....咖哩吉烈豬扒飯. 不過件豬扒有啲特別, 它不是一件普通的豬扒. 因為我讓咗一片火腿和一片芝士响件豬扒的中間.

This time we pretend Japanese. We had Curry Crispy Pork Chop with Rice. The Pork Chop is different from the normal one, because I stuffed a piece of ham and cheese inside.

敍會 Gathering


今晚會去米班主個同事屋企敍會和過夜, 所以預備左鳳梨酥做下午茶的小食, 叉燒和燒排骨做晚餐同大家一路食一路閒談.

鳳梨酥食譜是跟
Cheerfulkiki, 叉燒和燒排骨食譜

















叉燒和燒排骨食譜
材料 :
梅頭肉 2磅
排骨一條 2.5磅
麥芽糖 2茶匙

醃料:
鹽 1.5茶匙
糖 3湯匙
生抽 1.5湯匙
蠔油 1.5湯匙
海鮮醬 1.5湯匙
乾荵、蒜頭及玫瑰露酒各適量
















做法 :
1. 將梅頭肉洗淨,切成約半吋厚片。









2. 剁碎乾荵及蒜頭, 將乾荵、蒜頭及所有醃料混合。

3. 加入梅頭肉內醃兩小時或以上。

4. 預熱焗爐 200oC,然後放入梅頭肉, 焗十二分鐘後,將叉燒反轉再焗八分鐘。焗至微焦後,可拿出淋上麥芽糖。最後切片上碟即成。

材料 :
梅頭肉 1磅
麥芽糖 2茶匙


醃料:
鹽 1茶匙
糖 2湯匙
生抽 1湯匙
蠔油 1湯匙
海鮮醬 1湯匙
乾荵、蒜頭及玫瑰露酒各適量

做法 :

1. 將梅頭肉洗淨,切成約半吋厚片。
2. 剁碎乾荵及蒜頭, 將乾荵、蒜頭及所有醃料混合。
3. 加入梅頭肉內醃兩小時或以上。









4. 預熱焗爐 200oC,然後放入梅頭肉, 焗十二分鐘後,將叉燒反轉再焗八分鐘。焗至微焦後,可拿出淋上麥芽糖。最後切片上碟即成。

粉果 Steam Dumpling



材料 (餃皮):
澄麵粉 200克
粟粉 2湯匙
生油 1湯匙
熱水 1杯
鹽 1/2茶匙

材料 (餡枓):
免治瘦肉 50克
冬菇 2隻
甘笋, 白蘿蔔, 西蘭花頭 各少許


做法:
1. 將所有餡料拌勻.


2. 先將澄麵粉, 粟粉及鹽拌勻, 後撞入熱水拌勻後包保鮮紙保好後焗20分鐘再加生油搓拌.


3. 用麵粉棍揃薄再用吞拿魚罐吸出圓形.


4. 把餡料包好.


5. 蒸大約八至十分鐘.

回鍋肉 Double Cooked Pork


材料:
五花腩 400克
葱 2棵
薑 6片
青燈籠椒 1隻
紅燈籠椒 半隻
椰菜 半個

調味:
蒜蓉 2茶匙
甜麵醬 2湯匙
豆辦醬 1湯匙



做法:

1. 五花腩洗淨後, 加薑葱出水煮全熟.


2.用保鮮紙包好再放入保鮮袋, 放進冰水中浸至完涼.


3. 再放於雪櫃冷凍定型後切薄片.



4. 青紅椒及椰菜切絲.

5. 鍋中放油1湯匙, 下蒜蓉1茶匙炒香, 再下青紅椒, 椰菜, 大火炒至軟身, 撈起備用.

6. 再加油2湯匙燒熱, 下蒜蓉1茶匙炒香, 再下調呆料炒香, 下五花腩片, 炒均後, 再下青紅椒椰菜回鍋同炒, 炒均即可.

炸醬手打烏冬 Spicy Sauce with Noodle




















手打烏冬材料:
麵粉 2 杯
鹽 1茶匙
水 3/4 杯

炸醬材料:
免治瘦肉 200克
蝦米 15克
青椒 1/2隻
紅辣椒 1隻
冬菇 4隻
葱 2棵
蒜頭 2粒

調 味 料 ( 炸醬 ):
粟粉 2茶匙
水 2 茶匙
生抽 2茶匙
鹽 1 茶匙
麻油 2 茶匙

芡汁:
海鮮醬 1湯匙
油 2湯匙
豆瓣醬 1湯匙
酒 1茶匙
糖 2湯匙
辣椒油 2茶匙

上湯:
水 125毫升
上湯 200毫升
麻油 1茶匙






















做法 (炸醬):
1. 燒紅鑊, 加油爆香蒜頭, 葱, 紅辣椒和青椒 。

2. 加入蝦米, 冬菇和免治瘦肉 。









3. 加入芡汁同煮至芡汁收乾 。










做法 (手打烏冬):
1. 鹽和麵粉拌勻再加水。

2. 搓至有至和成一粗糙麵糰大約15-20分鐘 (約150 下) 。








3. 案板上薄撒些麵粉,放麵糰在上,揉約5分鐘便以毛巾蓋着,擱置20分鐘待麵糰醒發 。


4. 用麵棍捲起麵糰,分四份摺疊如圖, 用刀切成麵條, 撲以高筋粉後麵條便分離 。如不即用,可晾在棍子上待乾。



















5. 用一個較深的煲加水煲至滾, 加入麵條煮大約25-30分鐘, 加凍水當水開始再滾時直到麵條完全熟透 。







6. 須用凍滾水或冰水沖洗 , 才可令麵質爽口, 切忌用過熱的水來過冷河 。








7. 煮滾上湯, 加入麵條當再次滾時把麵條撈起放入碗內加入炸醬再加入上湯。

魯肉飯 Minced Pork with Rice Taiwanese Style


材料:

免治豬肉 8安士
油葱 1/2湯匙
蝦米 (切粒, 炸香) 1安士
雞湯 1 1/2杯
雞蛋 (烚熟) 1隻
酸菜 (切细碎) 少許




調味:
冰糖 2安士

米酒 1 1/2湯匙
老抽 1湯匙
五香粉 1/2茶匙


做法:
1. 蝦米粒炸香.

2. 待鑊熱後, 加入2湯匙油, 把油葱和豬肉爆香, 加入五香粉和蝦米.

3. 放入雞湯, 以慢火煮40分鍾, 同時加入冰糖, 米酒和老抽作調味. 加入雞蛋以慢火煮. 當雞湯煮已收乾時就可以加上白飯和酸菜吃.

鍋貼 Dumpling Fried



材料 (鍋貼皮) :
麵粉 1杯
水 1/2杯
鹽 少許

材料 (餡) :
免治瘦肉 150克
小棠菜 1棵 (切碎)

醃料:
生抽 1湯匙
砂糖 1茶匙
胡椒粉 少許
米酒 少許
生粉 少許
麻油 少許

做法:
1. 鹽和麵粉拌勻再加水。
2. 搓至有至和成一粗糙麵糰大約5-10分鐘。
3. 案板上薄撒些麵粉,放麵糰在上,揉約5分鐘便以毛巾蓋着,擱置20分鐘待麵糰醒發。
4. 用麵粉棍薄後, 用吞拿魚罐吸出圓形粉皮。



5. 免治瘦肉加小棠菜和醃料拌勻 。



6. 將餡放在粉皮中央, 並沿邊向中央摺起成鍋貼的模樣 。


7. 燒熱平底鑊放入1湯匙油至熱, 效進鍋貼加1/4杯水把鑊蓋蓋上, 煮至滾轉為細火半煎煮至乾 。

糯米釀香茅雞翼









材料:

雞全翼 7隻
糯米 2小杯
臘腸 1條
臘肉 1/4條
蝦米 10隻
冬菇 2隻

雞翼調味:
老抽 2湯匙
魚露 3湯匙
糖 1湯匙
香茅 1湯匙
胡椒粉 少許

做法:

1. 糯米洗淨浸過夜瀝乾留用.

2. 臘味, 蝦米及冬菇分別洗淨蒸熟切粒.

3. 燒熱油,倒入臘味, 冬菇及蝦米等炒勻盛起備用.

4. 糯米和其他材料拌勻, 放進蒸籠蒸大約30分鐘.

5. 雞翼起骨醃大約2小時.

6. 預熱焗爐400度華氏/200度攝氏.

6. 把糯米飯釀進雞翼內, 用牙籤封口, 放進焗至金黃色大約30分鐘.

薑汁撞奶 Steam Mike with Ginger



材料:
脫脂鮮奶 250ml
薑汁 1湯匙
沙糖 1.5湯匙 (可加減至個人口味)

做法:
1. 脫脂鮮奶及沙糖放進小煲肉, 加熱至150度華氏/75度攝氏.

2. 薑汁放在一碗內, 記得攪拌.

3. 把脫脂鮮奶撞入碗內.

4. 等5至8分鐘, 輕輕傾碗沒有液體流出.

蒜泥白肉 Pork with Garlic Sauce



材料:
五花腩 400克
葱 1條

薑 5片

蒜泥汁材料:
老抽 1湯匙
麻油 1/2湯匙
鹽 1/4茶匙
辣油 1湯匙
糖 1茶匙
上湯 2湯匙
蒜蓉 1湯匙

做法:
1. 豬肉洗淨, 煲滾水, 加薑 、 蔥和少許鹽, 用中火煮約半小時,熟透後, 放進冰水內.

2. 肉冷透後, 用利刀片成薄片, 排放碟上.

3. 將調味料及蒜泥拌勻, 淋在肉面上, 即可供食.

印度之情 India





在印度買了很多香料回來, 十分之懷念印度的食物. 今日整咗這味印度羊肉Mutton Curry Lamb, 同時炒了Lady Finger.
